Good-looking custom-style bikes are for everyone: that’s the philosophy behind the Mutt Motorcycles story that fuelled our steady rise to success. Just because you’re a beginner rider doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to own a bike that gracefully handles all kinds of terrain while radiating timeless cool. Café racer-style motorcycles have become icons of film and popular culture. It’s these kinds of bikes that Mutt Motorcycles specialises in and inspired us to create our own 250cc café racer motorcycles for the benefit of beginner riders.
We’ve spent more than 15 years behind the tools building custom bikes, which gave us a head start when it came to making our small 250cc motorcycles. Our small displacement bikes have now spread from our hometown of Birmingham, UK, throughout several countries, including Australia.
There are many excellent reasons to buy a 250cc motorcycle, especially if you’re in the early stages of your riding journey. These bikes are easier to gain experience on, as you can learn to master turns without the worry of accidentally shifting to a too-high speed. Our 250cc motorcycles are more affordable to purchase, and one of our priorities is keeping them inexpensive, so newer riders can more easily embrace the motorcycle lifestyle. They also get better fuel mileage than many other bikes on the market so that you can save again at the petrol bowser.
Our small 250cc motorcycles are powered by 4-stroke single cylinder fuel injected 250cc engines that can reach speeds of around 120 km/h. Built to the highest standards of quality from local and imported parts, they’re designed to be reliable as well as look good. They’re commonly fitted with features like ABS brakes and LED lighting.
Browse the Mutt Motorcycles catalogue of 250cc bikes, and you’ll find bikes that are dark, moody, and mean; bikes with a gentlemanly demeanour but an undercurrent of aggression that flares up just when you need it; bikes that have sleek and shiny exteriors yet rumble fiercely on the streets; bikes that have a military look and a level of reliability and precision to match, and so much more.
Whether it’s glossy exteriors, shining stainless steel, chunky tyres, massive fuel tanks, halogen headlights, barking silencers or whatever else pumps you up for a ride, Mutt Motorcycles 250cc bikes offer features that get the adrenaline flowing, and they’re easy to customise too.
Want a small displacement bike that will take you further in style and let you have it your way? Take a look at our 250cc café racer motorcycles.
